Built Into Echo Live

Free soundboard for gaming

Play meme sounds, music clips, and custom audio through your mic in Discord, games, and any voice chat. Hotkey-driven. Zero latency. Combined with your voice changer.

How the Soundboard Works

1

Import Sounds

Drag and drop MP3, WAV, or OGG files into Echo. Organize them into boards for different games or moods.

2

Assign Hotkeys

Bind each sound to a keyboard shortcut. Press a key during voice chat and the sound plays instantly.

3

Play Through Mic

Sounds are mixed with your voice and output through Echo's virtual microphone. Others hear it as if it came from you.

What Gamers Use Soundboards For

Gaming Lobbies

Play iconic sound effects during clutch moments — airhorns, MLG montage clips, or victory fanfares in Discord and in-game voice chat.

📺

Stream Entertainment

React to donations, raids, and chat messages with instant sound effects. Keep your audience engaged between gameplay moments.

D&D / TTRPG

Set the mood with ambient sounds — tavern noise, battle drums, thunder, or dramatic stingers when the BBEG arrives.

😂

Meme Sounds

Vine boom, Bruh, Oof, Windows XP error, dramatic chipmunk — build your ultimate meme soundboard and deploy at will.

Content Creation

Add professional transitions, jingles, and stingers to your recordings without post-production editing. Record once, done.

Prank Calls

Combine the voice changer with soundboard effects for elaborate voice performances. Layer sound effects over your transformed voice.

Voice Changer + Soundboard in One App

Most soundboard apps (Voicemod, Resanance) are standalone tools that need virtual audio cables to work with voice changers. Echo combines both — your voice is transformed by AI while soundboard effects play on top, all through a single virtual microphone.

❌ Other Soundboard Apps

  • • Separate app from voice changer
  • • Requires virtual audio cable setup
  • • Can't combine with AI voice conversion
  • • Audio routing is fragile and complex

✅ Echo Live

  • • Voice changer + soundboard in one app
  • • Single virtual microphone output
  • • AI voice + sound effects layered together
  • • Zero setup — works out of the box

Soundboard FAQ

How does a soundboard work with voice chat?

Echo creates a virtual microphone on your computer. When you play a sound from the soundboard, it mixes that sound with your voice and outputs it through the virtual mic. In Discord, games, or any voice chat, other people hear both your voice and the sound effect as if it's coming from your microphone. No additional software or virtual audio cables needed.

Can I use custom sound effects?

Yes. You can import any audio file (MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC) as a soundboard button. Drag and drop files into Echo, assign a hotkey, and play them instantly. Many users import meme sounds from YouTube, sound effects from free libraries, or even record their own clips.

Does the soundboard add latency to my voice?
No. Soundboard audio is mixed directly into the output stream at near-zero latency. Your voice continues to be processed normally — the soundboard just adds audio alongside it. There is no perceptible delay.
Can I use the soundboard and voice changer at the same time?
Yes — that's the key advantage of using Echo instead of a standalone soundboard app. Your voice is transformed by the AI voice changer in real-time, while soundboard effects play on top of it. Imagine speaking as Darth Vader while playing the Imperial March — it all goes through one virtual microphone.
Is the soundboard free?
Yes. The soundboard is included free with Echo Live during the beta period. You get unlimited sound buttons, custom hotkeys, and full mixing control at no cost.
