Turn your next greeting into a suspiciously cheerful broadcast from the Radio Demon.
Start with Radio in Echo Live for the thin, crackly sound of an old broadcast. It gives your own speech a vintage filter to build a Radio Demon character around, whether you are joining a Hazbin Hotel roleplay or opening a horror stream.
Keep Static low at first, then add enough hiss to suggest an old receiver. Adjust Clip Threshold for a rougher edge. Stop before the crackle starts swallowing the punchline; the audience still needs to hear the unsettling part.
Try a bright greeting with very precise words, then slow down for the threat hidden inside it. An original line to practise: “Welcome back, dear listeners. We seem to have misplaced the exit.” Leave a beat before the last word.
A polite, almost delighted delivery gives the radio texture something to work with. Use a lighter effect for a long roleplay scene, then lean into the character for announcements and entrances. You do not have to shout to take over the room.
Choose Radio and your microphone in Echo Live, then select Echo as the input in Discord. The filter follows your conversation, so you can answer other characters instead of relying on recorded lines.
For a stream, choose Echo as the mic input in OBS. Record a short introduction and check that only the changed microphone is coming through. If you want to explore a different vocal character as well as the radio texture, the community voice-model guide covers that route.
Start with Radio for that vintage broadcast sound, then shape your own Radio Demon effect in VoiceLab.
The Radio effect narrows your microphone sound and adds the grit of an old broadcast. Static adjusts the background hiss; Clip Threshold changes the clipping that roughens the voice. Your delivery supplies the character.
Start with Radio for vintage broadcast texture. Adjust Static and Clip Threshold, or build a custom version in VoiceLab. The effect is called Radio in Echo; there is no bundled Alastor preset.
Choose Radio in Echo Live, then select Echo as Discord’s input device. Test a short introduction and keep the static below your speaking voice.
Sound like a vintage radio broadcast in games, Discord, streams, videos, and voiceovers.
Give your next conversation the warm, close-up sound of a late-night radio show.
Turn your microphone into a deep demon growl for horror games, Discord scares, and dark roleplay.
Choose Radio in Echo Live and give your audience a welcome they may regret.
